JB’s Log 23/02 & 24/02

I’m taking my deadlift from shit to suck (it’s always been a problem lift of mine!) and this week have managed to set another volume PB (180kg for 5 sets of 5).

All my lifts are going up nicely apart from my 4×8 bench press which has recently stalled. Hopefully will rectify that on Thursday!!

Monday 23rd February

Speed Bench Press
105kg x 3 reps x 6 sets

Deadlift
180kg x 5 reps x 5 sets (last set shown below)

Squat
162.5kg x 8 reps x 4 sets

Tuesday 24th February

Speed squat
155kg x 3 reps x 6 sets

Bench Press
127.5kg x 5 reps x 5 sets (last set shown below)

Deadlift
162.5kg x 6 reps x 4 sets
